Silk Jets formed as the result of multiple chance meetings in the “Pocket City” between artist Jonathan Hittner, vocalist Kyle Hittner, and musician Heath Metzger (best known as the drummer for the indie group Mock Orange). Their first effort, sketches_ep.1, began taking form in late 2012, but was shelved until its release in 2022 on Bedfire Label.
